The 2013 Run-Walk to Home Base presented by New Balance is a 9K fundraising Run scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2013. This year, they also added an option of a 2.6-mile fundraising Walk too.

The two options allow you to Run or Walk through scenic Boston, ending with an unforgettable experience of crossing “home base” (plate) at historic Fenway Park. Friends and family can cheer you on from the stands at Fenway, with food, entertainment, and family fun activities in the concourses of America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.

This year, for the first time, the event is open to children age 6 to 15 to enter the Walk portion of the event for just $125 when accompanied a registered adult fundraising walker who has committed to the $1000 fundraising fee along with required parental waivers. Those 16 and over can enter either the walk or run portion of the event with the $1000 fundraising commitment, and early bird registrations before Jan. 15 are just $750.
