The Bellin Run, a 10K held annually in Green Bay, Wisconsin, since 1977, is one of the DMSE’s premier sporting events and has grown to be one of the largest 10K races in the nation. Running greats like Bill Rodgers, Joan Samuelson, Bruce Bickford, Ed Eyestone, Joseph Kimani, Uta Pippig, Tegla Loroupe and other elite athletes and Olympians make the Bellin Run one of DMSE’s most prestigious runs.
Presented by Brigham and Women's Hospital, the 9th Annual B.A.A. 10K is the perfect way to kick off the summer racing season. As the second race in the B.A.A. Distance Medley, the 10K is scheduled for June 23 and registration is set to open in early May. This race through the heart of Boston along Commonwealth Ave. is one of the most exciting in the area. In 2016 Massachusetts native Shalane Flanagan set the American women's 10K record on this course!
Start your holiday weekend early and celebrate your Independence at the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 5K and 10K at Patriot Place on July 3, 2019. The excitement begins Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 with Runner Bib Pickup and free family activities at Patriot Place, including photos on the field and a movie night. This fun-filled event continues on Wednesday, July 3rd with all-day exhibits, free family activities, and a Kid’s Fun Run inside Gillette Stadium at 3 p.m. The premier event finale is an exciting 5K at 6:00 p.m. and 10K at 7:00 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:15 p.m!
Founded by Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson in 1998, the TD Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race, held in Samuelson’s hometown of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, has become one of the top 10K road races in the U.S. Samuelson retained Dave McGillivray and his team at DMSE to serve as the event’s Race Director and has since called McGillivray "the most organized and gifted race director in the world."
