The 15th annual BAA 5K features an urban course that takes 10,000 runners past historic Boston landmarks and across the Boston Marathon finish line. In 2017, Ben True again set the American men's 5K record on this very course! The B.A.A. 5K serves as the first race of the B.A.A. Distance Medley, a three-race series that also includes June's B.A.A. 10K and October's B.A.A. Half Marathon.

Invitational Mile on marathon weekend. Bleacher seating at the finish line is free and open to the public.

Brooks Running Company and Berkshire Hathaway are bringing more Run Happy spirit to the annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting with the Invest in Yourself 5K fun run and walk. Warren Buffett has embraced a healthy active lifestyle and the importance it has on the well-being of people everywhere. The event will be held the Sunday following the annual meeting. At Girls on the Run we inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.

Dave McGillivray and the Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation are giving back to the City of Medford with Run Medford, an family-friendly weekend of running. The weekend will be fun-filled and chock full of community and running to celebrate Medford, Dave’s hometown!

The popular annual race that finishes with fanfare at the 50-yard line of Gillette Stadium returns for the 11th time after COVID-19 forced the cancellation of last year’s event. As part of a continued charitable partnership, a portion of the proceeds from each race entry will be donated to the New England Patriots Foundation to be allocated to a variety of health-related initiatives across New England. The 5K is run entirely on the Patriot Place campus beginning at 6 p.m. and includes the ramps inside Gillette Stadium before entering onto the field through the south end zone tunnel.

Each year on the last Sunday of September, the starting gun sounds for a world-class road race that has become a true Pittsburgh tradition for the past 41 years. The Great Race – established as a 10K race by the late Mayor Richard S. Caliguiri – has attracted more than a quarter million participants since 1977. Over the years, this popular fall fitness classic has grown to include a 5K run/walk, running clinic, two-day expo and children’s race…with more than 16,000 individuals taking part in these various activities annually.

Start your holiday weekend early and celebrate your Independence at the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 5K and 10K at Patriot Place on July 3, 2019. The excitement begins Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 with Runner Bib Pickup and free family activities at Patriot Place, including photos on the field and a movie night. This fun-filled event continues on Wednesday, July 3rd with all-day exhibits, free family activities, and a Kid’s Fun Run inside Gillette Stadium at 3 p.m. The premier event finale is an exciting 5K at 6:00 p.m. and 10K at 7:00 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:15 p.m!

Every year, more than 1 million Americans are diagnosed with cancer. Every year, thousands of them are treated at a Lahey Health Hospital.

The 14th Annual 5K Cancer Walk & Run to help raise money for your family members, friends, and neighbors with cancer. 

The fundraising goal this year is $500,000 for the Lahey Health Cancer Institute, and they can achieve it with your support.
